Switcher Studio – Original Music

Composing music for a bigger project is sometimes easier than picking generic music from a paid online library. You can reuse music and build your brand with a consistent sound bed. These compositions don’t officially certify me as a “jingle writer,” but when custom music is needed for the job, I am excited to put my music skills to work.

“Level Up” | Switcher Studio Website Home Page Video

This music was featured as Switcher’s main video on the Home Page of the site as well as the YouTube Channel. It features Live guitar with programmed MIDI using bass and drum samples.

“#StreamSquad” | Weekly Livestream Opening Title Music

Switcher has a weekly show called “#StreamSquad”. With the help of my colleagues and cohosts, we revamped the format of the show. I also decided to give it a new intro video and music bed for the opening.

“Webinar Countdown” | Countdown music for all live streams

By creating my own music, I was able to avoid copyright issues that can arise from using music without attribution. Facebook is notorious for shutting down live streams that contain copyrighted music even if you happen to have the rights to use the music in your content. This piece of music is repetitive, but the long sequence of chords serves to fill the space between the beginning of a livestream video actual start of the show.
